Four sisters,
one standard.
Wax On Wax Off was not built by a salon group. It was built by four sisters who could not find the standard they wanted, so they made it.
The origin
Wax On Wax Off: Founded by Four Sisters
Born from the shared vision of four sisters, Wax On Wax Off restores artistry and intention to beauty. Inspired by their backgrounds in ballet, martial arts, wellness, design, and travel, they transform rushing, transactional waxing into a refined, high-skill experience.
It is a brand built on a unique blend of discipline, grace, Spanish refinement, and Japanese ritual.
Four disciplines
What each of them brought.
Four different training grounds, one shared intolerance for work done in a hurry.
Ballet
Posture, line and repetition. A wax is judged the way a position is judged: on whether the line is clean, not on how fast it was reached.
Martial arts
Discipline and control. Temperature, pressure and timing are the same technique every visit, which is what makes the result repeatable.
Wellness and design
The room is part of the treatment. Light, sound, linen and pace are chosen, not inherited from whatever the space came with.
Travel
Spanish wax and Japanese ritual are not decoration. They are the two traditions the sisters kept returning to, and the two the studio is built on.
The standard
Speed is not skill. A treatment that is rushed is a treatment that will be repeated sooner, less comfortably, with a worse result. Every ritual here is unhurried by design, because that is the only way the finish holds.
